Customers English mistakes
In the world of software development, not the Customers English mistakes are funny but their stubborn to repeat them!

Is English the foreign language for your Customers?
Then I bet you have a hard life navigating between “the customer is always right” and “really???”. Customers make mistakes in English.
We learn, learn and learn again
It’s always amazing how quickly we learn “Customer English”. I know how you feel when emails, chats, documentation… are all sprinkled with annoying weird words. But what is more impressive? The mistake recurrence !!!! I write some examples here and you could add more in the comments.
Stubborn Customers – English mistakes
One of my client always says “There is no change” wanting to say “There is no chance”
Another, when asking to implement a feature, says “future”, and that makes me smile
“each” versus “every” is a normal confusion
I don’t have enough place to exemplify the mistakes with “than/then/that”
“farther” versus “further” is a next level, no problem, I always understand what they mean
My favorite is : “It has to be faster.” OK sure, any idea faster THAN WHAT???

However, in your day-to-day work, what mistakes amuse you and what makes you nervous?
